Lost and Found

There's a secret place
that lies between the Forgotten
and the Broken
It's the Lost and Found
a land that promisses nothing.

There's a hidden place
besides the Lonesome Shore
it's the Lost and Found land
where nothing is for sure.

Because you can't know what you've lost
if you don't miss it.
And you can't lose what you've lost
since you no longer own it to lose.

And if your chance flew away
to get back what you wanted;
And if your burning heart sings and cries
to the moon,
perhaps one day you'll walk the silly path
the blury path
to the Lost and Found land
which no one wants to cross
because it makes you see
you've lost more than you could ever find.

Maybe one day you'll wake up and remember
what you once had
and maybe you'll want it back.

But you can't really know
if you've already been there
and wether you found what you were looking for
and you let it slip away.

Maybe you jut let it slip away.

Maybe we only lose what we must,
and the Lost and Found is a nowhere place
where no one goes to find what they did not have.

Maybe we only seek for what we think we need
so we can get what's ahead waiting.
